Coffee #1

Hello there! Whether it is a hot summer afternoon spending time outdoors or a balmy morning, I can’t seem to get enough iced coffee. I love all things creamy, mixed to perfection, and still capturing that perfect blend. With that being said, $4-6 a day on the perfect drink gets steep. And, real quick. So, zip up your wallets and put down your keys! I have curated my favorite at-home iced oat milk coffee. If you’re an iced coffee gal you have to try it out and you have to let me know your thoughts!

I call it - The “Go To”

Supplies:

  • Mason jar with a lid

  • 1/2 cup of coffee already chilled in the fridge

  • 1/2 cup of oat milk (or your preferred choice of milk)

  • 1/2 teaspoon of honey

  • dash of cinnamon

  • handful (or cupful) of ice

First you will:

  • Pour the oat milk, honey, and cinnamon in the mason jar with the lid tightly closed.

  •  Then, shake them all together until you can see the honey has mixed thoroughly into the oat milk.

  •  Fill the cup with as much ice as you like in your drink (for me this means filling the cup to the top). And, add the chilled coffee to the top. Tightly close your mason jar for a final shake.

Voila! A delicious, creamy, and perfectly sweetened iced coffee blend to enjoy when you’re balling on a budget or you don’t want to make the coffee run all the time :)
